Veronica Mars!

We did it Rons! My boy and I finally made enough time this weekend to finish all of season 1 :D

 

* The Mr. likes Duncan/Veronica - apparently because it's a more normal relationship. It's interesting though. We only started watching Season 1 when we had seen two episodes of Season 2. So I can't help but wonder how he would feel if we had watched it in the correct order.

* I really like Logan/Veronica - While I still don't find Logan droolworthy physically, I cannot deny the inate appeal of the bad boy. I never realized just how little we actually saw of L/V in S1. From the way everyone went on about it, I just assumed it was like half the season.

* Duncan - I find him so uninteresting. The only time I found him intriguing was when he was beating the shit out of his car. And then it was only because I was trying to decide if he was angry 'cause he thought he killed Lilly, angry about L/V, or a combo of the two.

* Sadly, because of a poorly avoided discussion over the summer, I knew who killed Lilly. But I sort of expected there to be some clues, a hint here or there. But there was nothing.

* Poor, HOT Weevil. When will he get the hot loving he so clearly needs? And can I volunteer for that task?

* Seeing S2 first made me feel like the Wallace leaving thing was kind of out of nowhere. But now I see that it was really building up. Veronica really needs to re-prioritize and let him in a little.

* OMFG!!! When Lianne took the check, the Mr. and I looked at each other and said in sync, "That fucking BITCH!!!" I cannot believe she had the balls to steal that from Veronica. Totally evil.

Heh. Yep. Those are the highlights. Glad you are both enjoying it. Tell me though ... is the Mr. also a Bangel fan? ;-)

Wow, I didn't realize you were so late to the VM party.

It is different when you don't know what would happen. The Logan/Veronica thing took so many of us by surprise. I think that was part of the appeal.

'cause I pretty much did NOT like him. He was such an ass, but after his Mom died, I started to feel sympathy. When she's cuddling him in the hotel, it was like "oh"! And they were a good team.

I think there were clues about Aaron though. Especially toward the end. He was abusive (beating up Aly H's boyfriend) and there was a scene with him and VM in a car and I got the creeps from him (like he was hitting on her).
