All ya have to do is save it to your own comp, changing the filename. For instance, if I was saving the icon attached to this post, I might name it DoyleSadZerographic.jpg so I had a short description and didn't have to try and remember later on who made stuff.
Then at livejournal.com, click on Manage, then click on User Pictures. You can upload three pics if you have a free account. After all three are uploaded, then you decide which picture you want to see as your default, and give them all titles in the keyword line. So using the same picture, my keywords might say "Doyle Sadness - Zerographic."
