Back in two weeks!

Bye everyone! I'll be back in two weeks :)

My dear fiance hasn't even finished getting packed and is currently taking the world's longest shower, so I think we know which of us is more nervous ;)

After the ceremony next Saturday we'll be flying out to Texas to get on a cruise ship for a 5-day honeymoon. Which, arguably, we're way more excited about than the whole getting married thing!

 

On a completely different note: I applied to an "elite" icon community, I'm not sure why. Probably to get my hopes up, so they could be well dashed. I sometimes think i make good icons, then sometimes I think I pretty much suck.

Two of the mods have to say yea or nay on your app. I just got my first response, it was a nay. Apparently my brushes overwhelm the compostition and my cropping is blase. And I should do simpler things before attempting "advanced techniques." :( 

So I hope anybody who does watch my journal for icons (umm someone does.... right?) are prepared for the cut in half faces, krazy text, and gradients only I shall now be "attempting!"  :D *hee hee*  Maybe the two weeks away from PS and LJ will do me good anyway. I liked my icons until I applied, so really that was my bad :)
